Today we had the opportunity to experience the outdoor life in Finland. David Carlsson, the wilderness guide, took us to the forest. In different groups we had to manage three different challenges. The first one was making a fire just using flintstones and wood. It was not that easy but every group could make a little fire.
The second challenge was to walk a short round in the time as we did it together before. Every group had a really close time to the actual one.
After that challenges every group had to build a little shelter in the woods – there were quite good ones and everybody had a lot of fun.
The last challenge was to find with closed eyes nine different objects that were lying in a special area on the ground. It was really funny watching the other groups.
One group needed more than 10 minutes till all objects were founded –especially finding the flintstone on the ground was not that easy ;).
Afterwards we started to prepare the meal – every group was responsible for a Special part. We had to make fire, prepare the fish and drinks, make salad and the desert. It was a really good food and we learned how to make blazed salmon in the traditional way. It was a really nice day experiencing the nature with friends.
Just enjoy the pictures. :)
